January Amazon Update

Here is our monthly reporting on Amazon. In January our Amazon revenue grew over 500% from January, 2019. That continues the growth we began showing last year. To recap, our 4th quarter Amazon revenue growth was up approximately 450% over the year earlier period. (Please read our September post for more details on why we like Amazon.)

To make our lawyers happy, I’m sharing that our Amazon revenues are unaudited and subject to change. The Amazon numbers are small (but not as small as they were), but becoming meaningful. They are not necessarily indicative of how we’re doing generally. We don’t break out any retailer’s results specifically, but we do discuss customer (retailer) concentration in our financial statements.

There are 2,200 or so great retailers that allow us to reward you with our stock. Amazon does not. But Amazon is darn good at what they do, and so shopping there is sometimes the best thing to do. So we’re happy when you make that choice because it benefits the company you own – iConsumer.

Our audited annual financial reports are due to be released in April, 2020. Here is our prior year annual report.

It’s also good to know that when you tell friends that they can Shop Like A Sharktm, that shopping can include Amazon.

Hi Rob! Thanks for all your hard work in building this awesome company. Keep it up!
Question- Our company buys some items on Amazon for resale. On the iConsumer website it says “Items purchased for resale are not eligible for Rebate.” There isn’t any owner’s rebate for Amazon anyway. Does iConsumer still make money on such orders? Is it still worth it to click through iConsumer, or just click through AmazonSmile and let some charity make a half percent?

    We can have our cake and eat it too. Use iConsumer AND Amazon Smile. We may or may not make money (Amazon is a the opposite of transparent in these matters). But there is the definite chance that we do. Most definitely when you use the Amazon links on our site, you should end up at Amazon Smile, so the charity will get a donation.

    The place to find answers and ask questions about how to best use iConsumer is at our support portal. It’s at https://support.iConsumer.com .

    But, since we don’t ever ask you to put money in an account at iConsumer (we’d love it if you invested in our stock, but I don’t think that’s what you’re interested in doing) I think you may have us confused with something else. In any event, the folks over at support can help.

You said these emails were sent to shareholders? I am not sure that i am or not. Can you please check and if i am would you please give me the details about it. I may have become one without knowing, was a time i was sick and on line all the time. Still finding things i did that i was not aware of.😄. If i am then i did a good thing this time.
