This is quicker than a normal recap of results because Amazon is the gorilla we want to make sure you don’t forget (at least as far as it affects iConsumer and your stock). Boldly stated, if you shop Amazon, use iConsumer. It makes us stronger, and potentially helps our stock price to go up. You own our stock.
Plus, it’s the holiday season, so why not let Amazon give .5% of your purchase to your favorite charity via AmazonSmile?
iConsumer gets about 3% as our commission, your charity gets .5% of your purchase, and the world continues moving forward.
Two numbers to report to you. First, commission revenue from Amazon in November of 2020 was 271% better than November 2019. And, for the period of Thanksgiving Day through Cyber Monday, we were also up 271% year over year. I’m not sure what to make of that, but it’s not bad.
And the absolute size of the numbers was meaningful, too. Just a reminder, Amazon reduced the percentage that they pay us, so the revenue we generated for them was up significantly more than 271%.
So, in the spirit of the holiday, share your good fortune with your friends. Their shopping at Amazon can also help the stock you own become more valuable.
