Amazon Early September Results

I’m sharing results a bit earlier than normal because I want to share them in a public venue next week. As always, I think that understanding how we’re doing at Amazon gives us and you insights into the health of our business. As I talked about here, we’ve got stuff happening with tests of a new influencer marketing campaign, as well as a variety of other “new” efforts.

Amazon up 215% so far in September

That increase is comparing the first 9 days of September of 2021 to the same period in September, 2020. I personally find that exciting. It’s nice that our efforts are paying off. For the “fun with numbers” set, that means we’ve more than tripled for that time period. This post talked more about fun with numbers.

Our Stock Price is Up

It’ll be interesting to see what that does to member interest. I’m going to repeat myself here. Our stock price is volatile, it’s a risky investment, and I think that investors should be holding for the long term. But not everybody wants to, or can, hold for the long term.

Does Stock Price Affect Shopping?
